R.I.P my trusty old rose sword

"Your Rose crest sword was destroyed while fighting. It was unrepairable and removed from your inventory"

Since around Combat Level 10 the rose sword has been my friend in battle, only put away when fighting creatures that were worthy of risking my ogre club against. Even after reaching attack level 25 it was still my weapon of choice due to the dissapointment I found with the steel weapons.

After serving me faithfully from CL 10 or 11 to CL 28, your duty is done. Rest in peace.

Lizard spear value

An auction for a lizard spear on the market section of the main forums has reached 4000 gold.

It will be worth keeping an eye on how much these items sell for over time in case you are in the market for buying one. In theory the current prices they go for will be inflated due to the fact they are new and people will always pay more for rare items. As more of the Lizard equipment gets ripped from the dead bodies of Lizard men and women, more will be on the market and prices will fall.

In time we will see what the prices will finally settle down too.

Weddings, anniversaries and re-marriages

For those that like to keep up with up with the marriage gossip, heres a summary.

1. Luna and Messo have celebrated their 6 month anniversary. (only 6 years and 6 months to go before the 7 year itch kicks in!) ;-)
2. ElitaFaer and Yannlow have married.
3. Trosey announced that she and Prometheus are renewing their vowels on Saturday, September 22nd, at 00:00 syrnia time
4. Jeshickah and Spirit are re-marrying

Saurus, Centaur and Rose weapons/armour levels changed

"The following combat level requirements have been changed for wearing armour/weapons:

Saurus armour: level 40 defence to wear.

Centaur armour/weapons: level 30 defence/attack to wear.

Rose armour/weapons: level 15 defence/attack to wear.

These levels should have been 45, 35 and 15, but due to a bug they were all 0. They have been changed to 40, 30 and 15 to make this change more reasonable. I hope you will all understand it's better this way.

Everyone who is currently wearing one of these items but does not meet the level requirement can keep wearing it(!), but if they try to equip it again they DO need the level requirement."

Suprising that this 'bug' wasnt noticed before.....

The bottom line here is, dont remove any of these items if you don't have the level to re-equip it!!

Frog catching competition!

A competetion is underway at singing river!

Here was the build up to the competition being announced:

When you submit a frog, the judge tell you you the size, for example: Your Frog was 81.9 Pound !

Thieving and burn rates

There seems to be little information in the wild about what burn rates are for cooking various fish at certain levels. The same goes for what you price items you can steal at the different thieving levels along with the success/failure rates.

While there is no exact figures for both of these, I am working towards a mini guide to give people a rough idea of what to expect. I have some info already but the guide would get here quicker with a little input from you guys and girls.

If you add a comment with your cooking level, how many fish you started off with and how man you ended up with both cooked and burnt, it would be appreciated. You must have stayed the same cooking level at the start of cooking and at the end for these figures to be useful.

Thieving info is also helpfull. For example, I am a level 18 in this skill and know I can steal 2gp items 9 times out of 10. 6gp items I am succesfull on average 6 times out of 10.
