New ticket support system

I'll just paste whats on the news page as most people dont check the news page ;-)

"We've added a new ticket system to replace the current email & message support. All support now runs trough the ticket system, which you can also use without owning a Syrnia account.

This should really improve our support to all players. We will try to answer most open questions from the current emails and moderation messages, however we suggest you to open a ticket for any pending problem/question you've got.

Any website quests (guests?) can use the ticket system via this link, this link is presented to players who have trouble logging in, activating their account etc.Now, let's hope you'll never need the ticket system ;)."

"There has been some maintaince today, this had to be done because of the strange errors popping up everywhere. The cause is known, and we hope we've fixed it now."

Having seen lots of errors today I assumed this would happen at some point. I wish just 1 minutes notice could be given before they do this as I was halfway through a fight with an ogre...

Update from main page:
"Status:
The error we're repairing right now has caused the 2 maintainces from a few days ago as well, so we hope we're able to permanently fix this problem."

Hidden bug invasion

Today I came across a bug invasion while in arch caves which im guessing no one else spotted due to its secluded location. For once I kept silent about the invasion and managed to get to level 28 health.

While the bugs are only level 1 and give 7 xp per kill, the xp added up quickly as the timer was so short (11 seconds) and most of the kills were one hit kills. Being able to fight while afk was also handy. Hardly any food was needed either!

For once I remembered to remove my good armour and weapons before fighting them. Learned that the hard way from fighting gnomes with good equipment and having it break. ;-)

Gained 9.2k xp from them today. As im going to bed now, I might as well tell everyone that they are in Arch cave south so others can get some easy xp too. Keep in mind that you have to do a quest before you can get here and you need Combat Level 25 to be able to do the quest. As well as giving a guy a few thousand gold peices for the quest, you have to pay 500 gold to get to heerchey too. Nice and easy huh? :-P

Syrnia is down

Update: Syrnia is now up and working again!
Update 2: Early reports suggest that the trading posts are now working again

I guess with all the problems lately we saw this coming. I cant help but wonder if it was to do with the optimizations done not so long ago...

Errors and broken trading posts

Syrnia is throwing up a lot of errors today. First there is this sort of error:

Secondly, no trading posts are currently working.

Apparently the bug mods know about the problem so dont need it reported to them, I guess their inbox is mroe than full already. The word on the syrnian street is that the problems are being worked on.

Armour and weapon stats debate

Since the stats where changed for saurus, centaur and rose equipment a debate has been started about the affects of these changes.

I agree with the notion that some of these changes make other equipment pointless and that a some balancing needs to be done.
