Currently the pirates are invading, so either fight them to get some combat xp or grab a keg of rum and join them at Xanso!!
Im currently at Ogre outpost so am unable to tell you the locations of the invasions.

If this invasion is similar to previous ones, the other types of pirates are probably at the other locations on Mezno island.

Syriet Ore
The graphic for Syriet ore is now on the syrnia server and dwhq is showing that a mining level of 85 is needed to mine it.

Syriet two handed sword
There has been much speculation about the Syriet two handed sword since it appeared on dwhq.
The item exists and the stats are known as M2H was seen at Ten Cliff on Skull with the sword equipped. They are:
Aim: 62
Power: 85
Attack level required: lvl 85
What is not known or clear is whether Syriet ore is being added to the game or if the sword will be a drop. With a lot of high level players needing better equipment, we may see Syriet ore and mining added to the game so that tools and weapons can be made by smithers.
Update: There appears to be a rumour going around suggesting that Syriet bars will be made from a Syriet ore + a Diaspore. This is just a rumour though. Hopefully there will be some official announcement soon regarding Syriet.

Wingmere Hadrosaurus invasion finally over
After taking over Wingmere 5 days ago, the 8000 or so Hadrosaurus have finally all been slain.
Due to the location of the invasion, there was mostly only a couple of players fighting there at any time.
At 59xp per kill, plenty of xp was gained. With the amount of kills Prometheus got, it works out at 257,417xp he got from the invasion. Very nice!

Mutings and Mods
With a lot of recent unrest due to unnecessary mutings by mods I am getting a lot of messages about the situation. It sounds like a mod is having a rough time of things and is taking it out on players, which is just plain wrong.
One of the messages pointed out this freezing:

Having googled and found out what this name meant I still think the freezing was unnecessary. In fact I think the mod has brought attention to the name and thus everyone has looked up to see why it was not allowed. If left alone, no one would have even noticed.

Where in the rules doe it say that that you cannot say a Chuck Norris joke?
Is this a case of a mod with PMS? Whatever the reason, modding is getting silly again!!!

I also have saved text of other players saying similar stuff and not being muted. So all those who ask me if mods have got it in for me, you have your answer ;) For those who ask why mods have it in for me, maybe it was due to my first mute, maybe it is becouse I pull them up on all their mistakes/abuse ;) I cant find the details of where the mod muted me for 12 hours for something silly, which later got reduced to 2 hours by another mod.

Elven Armour
Not much has happened the last few days except JLockmavs & esnow getting married. Congratulations!!
Currently I am training combat and while the elven armour I am wearing is much better than steel, I look like a woman wearing a white balaclava :P
