Having reached Attack level 30, I purchased a Centuar axe for 21k gold.
Ideally a Koban axe would have been my weapon of choice but they are too costly and rarely seen for sale.
So I tried the Centaur axe out on a few cobra's as I had been fighting in Jungles Edge and I got a max hit of 16 against a cobra. Im not sure if I can hit harder until I do a little more combat. My hardest hit before when using a steel axe or ogre club was 13.
Fighting Lizard creatures in Thick Jungle is now easier, often killing them in four hits, sometimes less. See comments for some combat reports.
Im wearing some +armour and +aim steel items which may make a little difference too.

If you are not aware M2H does NOT own Syrnia anymore he gave it to one of his brother's Abu, syrnia will be shutting down Feb 9 2008
I heard someone mention in world chat that m2h dosnt own syrnia any more but I have no way of verifying if this is true or not.
For a while I have suspected that bug mod has been doing all the coding on the site and not m2h, but this dosnt prove anything eaither.
Some concrete information about the issues you mentioned would be nice ;-)
