In an attempt to get more players to join the pirates, the pirate captain akkarin has announced ahead of time that there will be a pirate invasion on Monday morning.
The invasion will be sent around 7am game time so will land a few hours later.

Stupid. Waste of resources that could have been kept for when the bug is fixed.
If the pirate captain does not attack within so many days (think its 2 weeks) then he gets demoted from the position of pirate captain.
This attack is being sent within hours of that time, so akkarin does not lose his position.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't get demoted, even he himself said he wouldn't have.
By the way, have you ever tried clicking that button to have the verification thing read out to you...sounds like someone possessed...
Was more of an attempt to gather more resources over time by having more players join. Utterly useless thing to do however as the timers will eventually reach Remer instead causing less players to actually want to stay. The only reason for a lack of donations now is due to the bug not being fixed.
With this, akkarin basically sealed his fate with the pirates. I predict very few people will 1) be staying, 2) support akkarin anymore or 3) have Skull chat-friendly. As is, timers have been creeping up steadily, less successful invasions have been launched, and akkarin's legacy as captain is in shambles.
