Personally im not going to read through all the new rules as I would rather stick red hot pins into my eye, rules and copyright notices when installing software just dont make good reading!
A few items have been pointed out to me which I will comment on though.
Firstly, I think it was a good move to now allow clan members other than the clan leader to create a clan recruitment thread. Some clans have a member who's job it is for recruitment so this will now allow them to do their job in the forums too.
In the past I have created our clans recruitment thread, only to have it locked and Blackloter had to repost exactly the same thread, meaning we had 2 identical threads. Which sort of made the rule pointless as it created spam.
- If you want to dispute your punishment, staff will recheck your punishment and make a final decision which cannot be disputed after the decision is made.
- Once staff has made a decision on your punishment dispute its final, if you reply to the ticket after we have made the decision the ticket will be locked
A few days before the new rules were announced, I already fell foul to having an old ticket locked after the mod had replied with wrong information. So its frustrating that they can now lock the tickets even though they are clearly in the wrong. The ticket was regarding Synia related urls where the mod continously tried to tell me that Syrnia related urls are links within the gameitself.

Syrnia related URLs are those which take you to a page within the game, although we have allowed links to the syrnia trailers.
Later the mod changed their story and said the site had to be mostly syrnia related for it to be posted. While the link I provided was 100% syrnia related, they know it was, it was obvious from the url, they still replied with all different stuff to cover their mistake and then locked the ticket.
In this case I know im 100% correct, they are 100% wrong yet they have locked the ticket rather than admit their mistake. This is just one case that shows how the above two rules can help the bad mods get away with mistakes.
The mods are now back in chat and public again after so many people requested that they return. Hopefully in future senior mods will not make decisions based on what one or two players want and consider the problems making such a mistake can cause. Mods and good judgement....maybe one day they can be paired together ;-)

What they needed to do was make them public when answering tickets, not just give some of them the tags when chatting..
Not that it really matters, i'm getting sick of world chat now so i doubt i'll have it on much anyway..
Personally I dont care wether they chat or warn people under their real name or under an anonymous moderator name. Now the voice is back in chat they can warn everypne at once about risky conversations instead of warning/muting all those involved behind the scenes.
I 100% agree with you about tickets. There is still at least one rogue mod and rogue senior mod dealing with tickets and now they can get away with it easy due to how anonymous it is and how they can now lock tickets.
Until those rogue mods are outed, I will never have faith in the mod system.
Until I have that faith, I am keeping mostly out of world chat and forums too. As does quite a few respected players for similar reasons. Changing the rules hasn't changed any perceptiosn there.
On a side note, I will publish the recently locked ticket for all to see, so you can all laugh at the stupidity of the mod who was dealing with the ticket.
I could not help but laugh at your example of ticket handling by staff, the last ticket i had was a recent jail of my player by staff. when i messaged them and asked why i was jailed they replied "we can not discuss this with you as its the punishment of another player and we dont discuss players punishments"
When I pointed out that the player being punished and the player asking about the punishment were infact the same player they commented , if you continue to harrass staff you will be jailed, they then locked the ticket and jailed me.
Never did find out why i was punished the first time, second time was obviousily for pointing out staff failed to read the ticket :S oh well it made me giggle
I agree with all the 3 previous posts. I'm staying out of world chat as it's just a waste of time, the spammers and flamers are the friends of the mods (sic) and now you can plainly see the favoritism. Although being out of world chat would undoubtedly please a hell of a lot of people. ;)
The ticket system is an absolute joke, the senior mod just says any type of absolute rubbish they want and as soon as you reply you are threatened with having your account frozen.
As far as I'm concerned, I cannot see one mod (sic) that should be there.
Not for nothing, but when MUTED was started it was mostly due to the obvious favoritism that occurred in world chat. Although we are unliked because we flame, the flaming was directed towards those receiving favortism to make it more apparent. Now, everyone else is complaining about what we saw a year ago. I'm sure we weren't the first to notice about it, but interesting that it has all come to a head now.
