Woodcutting

Today I thought I would try and get a few more levels in woodcutting.

First I tried Unera as im level 29 and with the lizard machette (6 seconds faster than the steel hatchet) and 29 players working there, the timer was 108 seconds. So I tried Jungles edge which gave me a 54 second timer with 7 players there.

Unera gives you 30xp a chop and Jungles edge gives 15xp per chop, so the xp gains worked out the same.  At unera you get better seeds plus the chance of three woods per chop instead of the two at Jungles edge.

Silk woods was 73 seconds with 7 other people working there with 22xp gained per chop.

So there is not much difference between them all.  Unera and silk woods will give you more wood than Jungles edge.  Silk wood is slightly faster xp and Unera has the best seeds.

Obviously the amount of people working at the location can change the variables, so this is just a rough guide.

Big Wrong there...

Unera will give you approx 33 logs less per hour (approx 67) than what you will get chopping at either JE (100) or Silk(99). JE actually has the best wood gain, but only 1 log/hour more than Silk (Assuming each 'log haul' has the same chance as each other: ie the chance of getting 1log is the same as 2logs, and 3logs)

Silk will average 1085xp/hour which is comfortably the best, ahead of JE and Unera, both 1000xp/hour.

Unera undoubtedly has the best seeds though, so this will be the most financially appealing.

Summary:

Best Logs: JE
Best exp: Silk
Best Seeds: Unera

Obviously if more people head to JE and Silk, these numbers will change.
