I have been muted for 697 minutes / 11.6 hours. Over the top modding by a mod with serious issues.
I very rarely chat in syrnia due to getting muted by mods for silly reasons. Today I saw someone ask for some information and I thought I would reply and ended up having a fun chat. Until I got warned for saying the word "pissed" by a mod.
Having explained to the mod that the word 'pissed' is not offensive, I of course lost the argument and got muted.
While a lot of players kiss the mods arse's, a lot of players have told me that they don't talk much in syrnia because of the modding. If more players said something publicly them maybe the problems will get fixed. I know that players are scared of saying stuff in chat or on the forums because....the mods might get them, but there are plenty of other avenues to make your feelings known.
Update: A senior member of staff has reduced the mute from the wacko 11.6 hour mute to 2 hours. Whilst its good that a senior member of staff can reduce a mute that another mod makes out of spite, I am still fighting the original issue for the mute out of principal.

**I have heard other people openly discuss drugs while a mod has been online with nothing said to them. Even so, a mod could have just said change the subject, instead of issuing a warnign on record**

**I pull staff up on their bad decions, its not harrasment, its asking for things to be done properly. If mods are unable to make a good judgement, they shouldn't be mods**
