A few players have noticed that they now have an underlined name in chat which is a sign of having donated one euro, even though they had not donated.
It appears that someone has kindly been donating for other players.

Some may wonder why they received lines when others did not. Let me explain my reasoning behind the seemingly random selection. The people chosen were either my friends, people who had always been kind or polite, or those Syrnians who have been around for a long time but never had a chance to donate or have someone donate for them.
Those who complain about not receiving a line donation, there is a few reasons why this may have occurred: Either my magic wand is currently out of euros and therefor have not yet had a chance to thwack you with it, or you have proved yourself unworthy in some shape or form.
Unworthiness: Spamming, language, hostility, rudeness, being inconsiderate to other players and/or any other such behavior that I did not find appealing.
Yes, I donated for some people I don't even believe I have spoken to, and even for some who do not like me.
Why? Why donate so much? Because I can. I had the money available and I wanted to do something fun and positive for a game that I love so much. I wanted to see a streak of happiness infect world chat for a change instead of constant bickering and flaming. I enjoy sharing what I have, and if that means donating a few euros so I can draw a few lines and make some people happy, then I am all for it.
I remain annonymous because it is not only fun, but I do not want my mailbox filled with people whining that they did not get a line. I am not independently wealthy, I cannot donate for everyone. I will not donate for those that ask for it, and I will not donate for those that I do not know in some way.
So from this Syrnian to all of you, I hope this has brought some joy and happiness.

Now I'm really confused. The impression I get from others puts me right up there in the spamming, language, hostility, rudeness and being inconsiderate. Guess I'm being paranoid. But I'm sure as hell confused. :)
Personally I'd like to thank you for the donation and the criteria you stated in your first post. I owe you more than you think. Maybe it'll catch on and I'll do it for someone else.

Desann-everyone I gave a line got it for one reason or another. Obviously I either saw you doing something positive for someone, or you had helped me out in some way. You are at times a bit...frisky in world chat. Maybe disabling it for a bit and using reflective thinking will help you ;)
As for my magic wand, it should be replenished soon. I have a list I have quietly been compiling of people I missed the first two times. So expect a nice flow of lineage shortly. After that, I think I will go on vacation :)

I consider everyline a euro well spent, for Syrnia is more than just a game, it is a community. This is the only way I can give back to Syrnia and I am honored to do it.

Anyway, it has been great fun seeing the surprise and happiness of so many that I consider friends, good Syrnians and others I chose because other people brought them to my attention.
